2227 Series Surface Vertical Rod Exit Device

Ideal for back door employee entrances or parking garage stairwells, the Von Duprin 22 Series exit devices are designed for clinic/healthcare, multi-family, or retail/commercial markets. Fits door stiles as narrow as 3 13⁄16" (97 mm). The device is non-handed.

• Device Type: 27 - Surface Vertical Rod (SVR)
• Dogging: Hex Key Dogging, standard on panic exit devices
• Latch Bolt: Deadlocking anti-friction top and bottom bolt
• Strikes: Includes 299 and 304L strikes, 299F for fire rated devices. Also includes 248L-4 Bottom Strike for Flat Thresholds (Panic Only).
• Fasteners: Includes screw pack for 1 3⁄4" (44 mm) and 2 1⁄4" (57 mm) thick metal or wood doors; optional SNB available for device.
• Vertical Rods: ½" square tubing, standard rods accommodate 7' (2134 mm) door. Extension rod kits available for doors over 7' (2134 mm)
• Power Boost: Provides additional latch forcing for electromechanical unit with microprocessor control
• Black End Caps: Standard for all finishes, with the exception of 526. All devices configured in 526 finish will be supplied with a metal endcap in 526 finish standard.
