The Norton 1600 Series closers are designed to comply with requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and ANSI standard A117.1. All series 1600BC or 1600BFBC closers comply with ANSI A156.4 Grade 1 Specifications. All Norton series 1600BC/1600BFBC closers with non-hold open arms are listed by Underwriters Laboratories for labeled fire doors. These closers are listed by New York City Materials and Equipment Acceptance Division.
